Arise, go forth, and conquer!

God has called you to stand tall and confident in your calling and what He has started in you He will finish. You might be a little like David against Goliath, but God can still take down the giant. David was the only one not afraid, everyone else lived in anonymity. We are to rise up against the giant of fear and insecurity and he will fall.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

A Prayer to God:

Father God in heaven, I am going to take You at Your word. I will do what I was created to do because I’m sick and tired of avoiding it. I want to be and do everything You have always wanted for me. I don’t want to rile against you at the foot of the cross. I don’t want to apathetically stand in the back unmoved to do anything at all. I want to stand up and hear Your words to me and do them, un-phased by fear and worry. I will take up my shield of faith and sword of the truth against fear and insecurity and You will decapitate them and they will no longer rule in my life because I will believe that You have my future all written for me and I choose to dance through the life You created for me. And even though the stars to me appear so very far apart I will believe that when I step out in faith into apparent darkness because the next star appears so far away that my feet will land on solid ground.

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." Philippians 1:6
